Cold Turkey

If you wondered where I went to, nowhere fun. Just back and forth from work way too many times without writing about it. I will try to keep posting about my so called life again, really. I think I have said that once before. We'll see if this time is any different.

I now have more time on my hands. Why you ask? We canceled our satelite tv. Yes, miracles do happen. Now I have to cope in new ways. To be honest, it has been excrutiating. I wish I could say it has been a piece of cake, but that would be a bold face lie. If you have any suggestions for coping without tv I'm all ears. This is my new avenue to wind down, or up, depending on the day.

Anyway, lots has happened since July. I will fill you in later.

Glad to hear from you Cade. Let us know how the TV fast goes. We're sure to follow you before too long. :-) Feeding the tube is expensive.

You're right Jeff, it is expensive and time consuming; our young family can't handle that much stimulation/chaos at this time either. We'll see how it goes.

Hey Cade,
If you still have broadband you can watch "Hereos" on nbc.com every week. I think you can also watch the latest episode of "Lost" on abc.com. That's if you just want to get tv without a satellite. If you want to do something different than watch tv, how about some reading? I am currently reading an NIV application commentary on Genesis by one of the Prof's in the Bible Theology department, John Walton. He has lots of good stuuf to say!

Hey Ray, I do watch some political shows on msnbc.com and then survivor on innertube.com, but it is good to know of a few more places to pick up the staple shows. I have a stack of book on by my bed (12 to be exact) and am slowly working through those, but your commentary sounds interesting. Wonder if Dr. Walton has a signed copy somewhere he wants to lend out? Good to hear from you Ray.
